I am trying little "rehab" work on the Kirsten doll my sister gave me. She is an older doll with a pale, colorless face & some fairly frizzy hair. Anyway, yesterday, my DH was brave and touched up her lips and cheeks with a pink colored pencil! It looks great. Perfect, actually! She looks just as good and rosy as my normal colored other dolls now. I forgot to take a before and after picture though.

Anyway, tonight I'm going to try to work on her hair. After reading some posts here, I'm going to try the Downy Dunk. I found some color and scent free Downy after an extensive search at Wal-Mart (it was actually right there all the time, but I had a very hard time seeing it. No pun intended!). However, I am unclear on how long to dunk her hair? Also, I don't have a steamer and was going to just let her hair dry. Will that still help her frizziness? Any other tips I should know?
